Our core privacy principle is simple: We do not collect any personal data. We only collect information that you explicitly choose to provide to us, and we use privacy-first, anonymous analytics to ensure the App remains stable and functional.

PhotoStrata is designed to protect your identity. We categorize the information we handle into two types:

A. Information You Voluntarily Provide

If you contact Customer Support or provide feedback, you may choose to share your name, email address, and message content. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

B. Automatically Collected Anonymous Technical Data

We use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage and diagnostic data. This includes information like device type, operating system version, and which App features are used.

Crucially: This data is fully anonymized before it reaches us. We do not collect IP addresses, user identifiers, or any data that could link these technical insights to your personal identity.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To Respond to Your Requests: To provide customer support and resolve issues you report.
  • To Monitor Stability: To identify crashes and technical errors so we can provide a reliable experience.
  • To Improve Our App: To understand which features are most useful so we can prioritize future development.

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or user profiling. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Stjarna Labs Pvt. Ltd. will not share your information with third parties except:

  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We believe in data minimization:

  • Personal Information (Support/Feedback): Any personal information you submit is automatically and permanently deleted from our systems 90 days after receipt.
  • Anonymous Technical Data: Because the usage data collected via TelemetryDeck is not linked to any user identifier, we have no technical means to identify which data belongs to a specific user. Consequently, we cannot fulfill requests to delete or export specific technical data, as it is non-identifiable and stored only in aggregate form.

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

PhotoStrata is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
